Yilhun Lhatso (Yilhun Lha Lake) is a beautiful little jewel of a lake near Manigango in Kham, Eastern Tibet. Since we were on the road from Derge to Dzogchen, we didn’t explore the area, but we understand there is good hiking through here. According to our new friend Chris Jones of Griffon Expeditions, “the concentration of wildlife between Dzogchen and Trola/Yilulhatso zone is one of the highest concentrations in Tibetan areas.”
