The last of three high passes on the way from Nagartse to Gyantse. We were so overwhelmed both by the views and the brutality of the road conditions on this route that we didn't even notice the name of this pass. We only knew that it was the third of three that day and that it would be downhill from here. Not that downhill was much comfort. In this case, the muddy road followed a precipitous cliff above this dammed lake.
